The 35th Annual Grain Millers Harvest Showdown held its Grain and Forage Show Awards evening last (Thu) night.  

The highlight of the night was when the 2024 Farmer Recognition Award was handed out to Blaine and Glenda Buckle, and their boys, Justin and Steven.       

In the Commercial Grain Show, the Cereal Champion was David Poyser of Inglis, Manitoba.

The Oilseed Champion was Warnyca Land & Cattle from Montmartre.

The Specialty Crop Champion was S & D Solonenko Farms of Stornoway.

The Organic Grain Champion was Alfonse Trach of Canora.

And the Premier Grain Award went to S & D Solonenko Farms of Stornoway.

In the Forage Show, the Hay Champion was Bernie Surkan of Yorkton.

The Silage Champion was Willem and Catherine Boogard of Melville.

And the Premier Forage Champion was G & S Liebrecht of Stornoway.

In the Pedigreed Seed Show, the Premier Seed Champion was Rod and Cathy Fedoruk of Kamsack.
