Black Sea Grain Deal Extended at Last Minute

Turkey’s president says Russia has agreed to extend a deal that has allowed Ukraine to ship grain through the Black Sea to parts of the world struggling with hunger.

The deal will extend the agreement by two months.

It’s not clear if any concessions were made to Russia.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U-N Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for their contributions.
