A Canadian ag organization is in a transition period as it searches for new permanent leadership.
Grain Growers of Canada is seeking a new executive director after Erin Gowriluk departed the organization after five years.
She is the new president of the Canada Grains Council.
The Grain Growers has established a hiring committee to oversee the process of finding a new executive director.
It’s also named its interim leadership.
Tyler Bjornson & Associates will lead the organization until a new permanent executive director comes on board.
In an interesting note, Gowriluk is replacing Bjornson as president of the Canada Grains Council.
Bjornson’s industry experience also includes acting as vice president of the Canola Council of Canada for nearly three years and spending two years as the director of transformation with Viterra.
