SaskAgToday.com Roundtable: CFIA confirm three more cases of Bovine TB, plus reaction

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency confirmed three more cases of Bovine Tuberculosis in cattle from a herd in Saskatchewan. The first one was detected on November 29th. The SaskAgToday.com Roundtable discusses the recent development.

Also, SARM is calling on the provincial government to re-instate the use of strychnine to deal with Richardson Ground Squirrels. However, Chief Agricultural Editor of SaskAgToday.com Kevin Hursh believes it isn’t an issue worth SARM’s time.

Hursh also highlighted an interview he did with Jodie Griffin, Coordinator of the Livestock Price Insurance Program, about the highest coverage available to livestock producers.

All that, and more, on the SaskAgToday.com Roundtable.
