SaskAgToday.com Roundtable: Bunge-Viterra merger approved, FCL announces pause of two major projects

This week wasn’t short on stories to share. The Western Canadian Crop Production Show wrapped up for another year, as well as the Saskatchewan Crops Forum; both were in Saskatoon, and both had numerous announcements made.

It was announced on Tuesday the federal government gave the green light to the Bunge-Viterra merger but with more than 20 conditions attached.

On Friday, Federated Co-Operative Limited announced a pause of two major projects as part of its Integrated Agriculture Complext in Regina: the proposed renewable diesel facility and a joint ventured canola crush facility with AGT Foods.

All that, and more, on the SaskAgToday.com Roundtable with Chief Agricultural Editor of SaskAgToday.com Kevin Hursh, 620 CKRM Agri-News Director Ryan Young, and GX94 Agriculture Director Doug Falconer.
