CN and CPKC Rail supplied a combined 76% of hopper cars ordered in grain week 21, a notable improvement from the 64% order fulfillment performance seen in week 20. 

That’s according to the Ag Transport Coalition.

In supplying 67% of cars ordered by shippers in week 21 – CN performance improved significantly from the 39% order fulfillment performance seen the prior week and marks its best performance in five weeks. 

CN performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a twenty-third straight week. 

CPKC performance saw a slight decline with the railway supplying 82% of shipper orders in week 21 as compared to the 85% performance seen the prior week. 

CPKC performance remains below the 90% performance threshold for a fifth straight week.
