Executive Director of Grain Growers of Canada comments on Passage of Right-to-Repair & Interoperability Bills

The Senate recently passed private members’ bills C-244 and C-294 and are awaiting royal assent to officially become law. Both bills will amend the Copyright Act to encourage the interoperability of parts and farm equipment as well as allow farmers to access diagnostic software programs to repair sophisticated equipment such as tractors, combines, and sprayers. Kyle Larkin, the Executive Director of the Grain Growers of Canada, explains their significance.
