Feed Flow takes 24-hour AgTech Start-Up Contest

Another 24-hour AgTech Start-up contest came and went at Canada’s Farm Show.

5 teams, comprised of people from various backgrounds, had literally 24 hours to come up with a start-up ag company from scratch, with help from provided mentors.

The team that won first place and 4 thousand dollars made an app called Feed Flow. Taking the best tech award and 2 thousand dollars was a group that created Ag Mentor, and the People’s Choice award and 1 thousand dollars went to the team that created Scan My Herd.

Kai Nim was a member of the winning team, and described the concept of Feed Flow as a system to help cow-calf producers track, among other things, how much feed they’re giving and when to provide a certain amount of feed, in order to reduce human error.

Nim explains it in more detail in an interview with 620 CKRM AgriNews Director Ryan Young.
