Yorkton Brick Mill Heritage Society Begins Fundraising Appeal Targeted at Farmers

The Yorkton Brick Mill Heritage Society has unveiled a new fundraising project that will target farmers in the area. 

Board member Thom Weir says it’s to help make the Yorkton Flour Mill’s Interpretive Centre a reality.

For your $5,000 contribution paid through your delivery to the
elevator, a 11-inch by 14-inch framed photo of your farm, and a
short write-up (both supplied by you) will be displayed inside
the interpreve centre as a lasng legacy of your farm and its
history.
If you prefer to make a $3,000 contribution paid through your
delivery, the name of your farm will be placed on our donor
wall, where we recognize all donors to the interpreve centre.
When you make a delivery to one of the parcipang local
elevators in Yorkton and area, a portion of your proceeds will
be sent to the Yorkton Brick Mill Heritage Society Inc. on your
behalf in support of the new interpreve centre addion now
under construcon.
You decide the portion you wish to donate. If you prefer, you
may make several contribuons over the course of the crop
year to reach your donaon total. In return you will be
recognized as outlined above, and receive a receipt for a
charitable donaon.
The paperwork will be done by the elevator company and the
Mill Society. You need only decide the dollar level of support.
