CN and CPKC Rail supplied a combined 96% of hopper cars ordered in grain week 40, a slight improvement from the previous week’s 95% order fulfillment performance.

The slight improvement reflects a small decline in performance for CN and a modest increase for CPKC.

In supplying 97% of hopper cars ordered on time in week 40, CN’s performance dipped modestly from the 98% posted in week 39 and remained above the 90% performance threshold for the fourth straight week and 8th time in the last 9 weeks.

CPKC order fulfillment performance improved slightly with the railway supplying 95% of cars ordered, up from the 94% order fulfillment performance seen the previous week.

CPKC also remains above the 90% threshold for the fourth straight week and 7th time in the last eight weeks.
