Federal Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau is heading to Japan to meet with her counterpart to promote Canada as a trade partner of choice and discuss the current Canada-Japan trade relationship.
Bibeau will discuss Canadian agricultural opportunities with Japanese agri-food stakeholders, Canadian industry associations, and Canadian businesses in Japan.
Bibeau will also meet with her peers at the G7 Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting this weekend to advocate for Canada’s approaches to build a more sustainable sector.
She will also discuss with her counterparts key priorities for Canada’s international agriculture trade relationships.
